Following legislation introduced for new build properties and to keep up with changes in building standards, we now have the facility to limit the flow rate on certain taps to a maximum of 3 litres per minute.
This can be done by fitting a special type of Perlator.
Dependant on the tap and because of the restriction introduced, invariably this would then require to have non-return valves fitted to avoid any potential back-siphonage, from the dominant cold feed.
There are two types of Flow Limiters available:
- one with a female thread (Pack 1)
- one with a male thread (Pack 2)
Both are available in chrome and silk steel finishes.
