My taps are noisy when they are in use, what can I do?

This noise can be due to the mains pressure being too high, this can cause the pressure to vibrate the pipes or hit viscously against the tap valve as it is opened and closed.

You will need to reduce the mains pressure to the tap using the shut off valves to reduce the pressure that the water enters the tap. If the issue continues a pressure reducing valve may be required.
