My tap is dripping or will not turn off fully, what can I do?

The cause of this is most likely debris on the cartridge valve washer or seating, if the pipework was not flushed through before fitting or limescale has built up this will prevent the cartridge valve from closing fully and allow water to pass causing a drip.

Please remove the cartridge valve, clean the valve rubber washer and the seating by swilling vigorously in hot soapy water and replace.

If the dripping continues the ceramic disc may be damaged and the valve will need replacing, most manufacturers cover these under the warranty for at least 6 months so do contact us should you need to check.
