My tap is discolouring or tarnishing, what should I do?

To maintain the appearance of these fittings please ensure they are cleaned regularly using a clean soft damp cloth only. Abrasive cleaners or detergents must not be used as they may cause surface deterioration. If the surface has began to discolour it is irreversible, very few manufacturers cover this under the guarantee/warranty but it may be worth checking just in case.
